Lady Gaga, Post Malone and Green Day set to headline the 2025 Coachella fest

Returning to the desert to headline Southern California's trademark Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is Lady Gaga.

According to the festival's website, the Oscar-winner was revealed as one of the three main headliners on Wednesday; Green Day and Post Malone complete out the trio.

At the two-weekend festival, Gaga will be the Friday headliner; Green Day will headline on Saturday and Malone will headline on Sunday.

According to Goldenvoice, the festival organizer, Rapper Travis Scott will also be performing a career retrospective concert.

On Wednesday, Goldenvoice revealed the entire Coachella lineup, including musicians Charli XCX, Missy Elliot, Megan Thee Stallion, Benson Boone, Lisa, Shaboozey, the Go Go's and FKA Twigs, among others, scheduled to participate at the festival's 2025 offering.

After Beyoncé, then pregnant with twins Sir and Rumi, withdrew from the music festival in 2017 on doctor's advice, Gaga famously led that year's headliners. Beyoncé came back to front the next year.

Along with her forthcoming seventh studio album slated to be released in February next year, Gaga will have fresh material to perform during the show - which will take place over two weekends in April in Indio's vast Empire Polo Club. The main song off the album, "Disease," has already been put out.

With his Grammy-nominated album "F-1 Trillion, Post Malone is having an outstanding year; Green Day is starting a world tour commemorating the 20th anniversary of "American Idiot" and the 30th anniversary of "Dookie."

Next year, coachella will take place April 11–13 and April 18–20. Presale starts Friday, at 2 p.m. EST/11 a.m. PDT.
